Mia Loves to Say “Ball”!

Mia Loves to Say “Ball”!

Erick February 13, 2020

Mia is now a little over a year and a half old. There are a few words that she says, which are:

  • Mama
  • Dada
  • Doggy (which sounds like “daddy”)
  • Stay
  • Baba (bottle)
  • Yeah (which sounds like “eh”)
  • Ball (which sounds like “baw”)

Every once in a while she surprises us with saying new things like “what’s that?” and “I like it”. Of course, when she says it, the words can be pretty hard to make out. So, we don’t always know what she’s saying, but she enjoys talking to us regardless.

In the above video, you’ll see that she really loves playing with balls. Sometimes she tries to stack them on top of each other and gets really frustrated that they won’t stack.

Whenever she puts the balls in her frog toy, she presses the button and then gives herself a round of applause, clapping her hands. It’s pretty dang cute! She also tends to do this when she successfully stacks things on top of each other without them falling over. She seems to understand that clapping your hands is something you do when someone has accomplished something!
